Kitchen Manager
The Highlander dining hall is the heart of our camp family. Three meals a day, we gather together to enjoy great food with great friends. Food service is more than food at HIghlander. It is one way that we live out our mission to love our campers and staff through a sweet reminder of home.
Our Kitchen Manager intentionally seeks to love their staff, our campers and counselors by planning and serving healthy and delicious meals, just like mom would make. Our manager works alongside the camp directors to successfully and efficiently run our kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and food quality. They are responsible for managing the kitchen staff and creating their schedule each week, maintaining and organizing food inventory, coaching and directing kitchen staff each day, as well as supporting food preparation at each meal.
Experience feeding groups of 300+ is preferred. Knowledge of dietary restrictions and accommodations is needed. ServSafe certification is required.
