Packing 101: Tips & Tricks from Melissa

I can hardly believe that Opening Day is ONE WEEK AWAY!! As I sit and type this blog, the Orientation Leaders are lining the camp road to greet the staff for the summer of 2023!! We are so excited about the summer, and we cannot wait to welcome all of our campers HOME to Highlander!

Since camp is just around the corner, I wanted to share a few tips and tricks as you pack and get ready for your child’s session at camp! So join me as I pack Catherine for her first summer at Highlander as a camper! Moms and Dads…we’re in this together!

And as a reminder…dont’ forget to have fun with your child as you pack them for camp! Don’t let this be stressful for you or them! Make it fun by reminding them that camp is one of the silliest places on earth and they are going to have SO MUCH FUN this summer! Get creative and let your child add their own special touch to their costumes, think outside the box about fun games they can play with their new friends and don’t forget that special stuffie to snuggle at night.
