Memory is a powerful thing. It has the ability to provide a mental time travel, a way to take us back to the past or even to imagine the possibilities of the future. Whether you experienced the magic of Camp Highlander then or now, all it takes is an old photo, a familiar smell or a sweet song to take our hearts and minds back to Old Forge.

While aging and changing are unavoidable, the magic that this mountian has created for over 60 years is timeless. No matter where you are, where you’ve been or where you are going, the magic of Highlander is always with you, and you are always a part of this mountain. Camp Highlander is more than a place, it is a family. We are forever grateful to our alumni, staff and campers for all of the hard work, love and joy that you’ve poured into the mountain year after year. We hope remembering your mountain home brings back cherished memories of fun, friendship and unforgettable life lessons that will remain with you always.
