Something is always cooking in the Kamper Kitchen at Camp Highlander! One of the most popular recipes to make at camp is a savory, cheesy biscuit similar to those found at Red Lobster restaurants. Learn to make Cheddar Bay Biscuits with Cabin 13!
You will need:
2 c. of Bisquick
2/3 c. of milk
1/2 c. of shredded cheddar cheese
Coating:
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. dried parsley
Step 1: Wash your hands. Get out all of your ingredients and preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
Step 2: Mix together the first three ingredients.
Step 3: Drop dough by spoonfuls onto a baking pan coated with cooking spray.
Step 4: Have an adult put the biscuits in the oven. Cooking time is 8-10 minutes.
Step 5: While the biscuits are cooking, mix together the last three ingredients. This mixture will be brushed onto the cooked biscuits.
Step 6: Brush the cooked biscuits with the mixture.
Eat and enjoy! Each batch yields 12 biscuits.
